Dr. Brooks and the staff are dedicated to providing the best care utilizing advances in technology to provide the patient and client a happy, loving, and long term relationship.

Dr. Heather Brooks-Owens DVM

Dr. Heather Brooks-Owens DVM:
Dr. Brooks graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Salisbury University in 1993. Dr. Brooks has taken advanced courses in dentistry and laser surgery techniques. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her two dogs, Hogan & Holly, and her cats, Puss, Murray and Chavez. She also enjoys riding her two horses, Julie and Wyatt.

Dr Jason

Dr. Jason Dean:
Dr. Dean graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University and Morehead State University. Dr. Dean is busy building up his clientele and has enjoyed meeting his new patients and their families. He spends much of his free time at the beach or on the water with his dog Lucy.

Jessie Rhodes, BS, RVT

Jessie Rhodes, BS, RVT:
Jessie is our head technician and has achieved the designation of R.V.T. (Registered Veterinary Technician) after completion of both national and state examinations. Jessie also has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Coastal Carolina University. Jessie has three dogs, Marleigh, Mousse and Flint, and two cats, Ranina and Leo. She enjoys riding Harley's and plans to own one in the near future.

Kelli and Maui

Kelli Blackway:
Kelli has just recently moved here from Houston Texas, where she attended San Jacinto College and received a degree in Surgical Technology. She loves spending time at the beach surfing with her husband, while their 9 month old puppy Maui swims through the waves along side them. She’s a Chesapeake/Chocolate lab mix so she loves the water as much as they do.

Andrea

Andrea Croyle:
Andrea recently completed her associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from Delaware Tech. She will officially graduate in the spring of 2008. She enjoys watching her son play baseball and spending time with her husband and their three dogs, Kona, Rocky and Sydney.

Joanna

Joanna Carpenter:
Joanna is one of our veterinary assistants. She has received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Salisbury University. Joanna has two dogs, Summer and River, and one cat, Tigger. She enjoys horseback riding with her husband and reading.

Holly:
Holly is one of our hardest working employees. She holds the title of office manager. She enjoys agility training, fetching the ball and eating biscuits.

Kevin:
Kevin is our hospital administrator. He assists Holly with the day to day operations and long term planning of the hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys agility training with Holly, boating with Hogan and Holly, and fishing.
