Pets are extremely susceptible to heatstroke during these hot summer days. Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean your pet wants to be outdoors all day. Pets should not be exercised during extreme heat and certain breeds should not be exercised at all during the summer months. If your pet is outside make sure they have access to fresh, cold water at all times. Also, make sure your pet has access to a shady area at all times while outside.
